Replace That Missing Tooth. Permanently.

Replace That Missing Tooth. Permanently.
Do you have one or several missing teeth? Are you embarrassed by the appearance of your smile? Are the missing teeth causing your healthy, remaining teeth to move or are you experiencing jaw pain? Do you have dentures that slip and cause pain when you’re eating or talking?
Dental implants are the permanent solution.
What are Dental Implants?
Dental implants are permanent fixtures that replace both the tooth and the root. They are ideal for people who have a missing tooth or missing teeth, (perhaps due to an accident), but are in good general oral health. Dental implants can be used to replace one, several or all the teeth.
Dental implants are made of a threaded, titanium post that is placed into the jawbone. Eventually the post integrates and fuses to the bone. Once the implant is has fused to the bone, an abutment or post is connected to the implant. An impression is taken of the post and a new dental crown (a tooth custom-made to match your existing teeth) is made in the laboratory. The crown is then permanently placed on the post and looks, feels and functions just like your natural teeth.
For those who hate the discomfort and inconvenience of dentures, dental implants can also be used for implant-supported dentures. First, several implants are placed around the dental arch and then an impression is made for a denture. The denture is then secured in place by the implants.
Implant-supported dentures are a very popular alternative to complete dentures. Because they are more secure, they increase your confidence and comfort when speaking, eating and smiling!
What are the Benefits of Dental Implants?
Dental implants improve your health by creating a comfortable bite and enabling you to bite and chew. They also reduce your chance of developing gum disease and enhance your appearance.
We have the training and expertise to do both the surgical implant placement and implant restoration in our office. We can do a single tooth implant or the entire mouth. In the event that the “tooth” on the implant cracks or breaks, we can also restore it to health and strength.
